Uma idosa de 76 anos foi resgatada, na quarta-feira (22), em uma casa com sujeiras e sem condições de moradia no bairro Nossa Senhora das Graças, Zona Centro-Sul de Manaus, durante uma operação da Polícia Civil. A filha dela foi presa pelo crime de por maus-tratos e negligência.

De acordo com a delegada titular da Delegacia Especializada em Crimes contra o Idoso (DECCI), Andrea Nascimento, a operação ocorre mensalmente, com o objetivo de apurar denúncias anônimas envolvendo pessoas idosas em situação de maus-tratos.

“No local, verificamos que uma idosa estava sendo vítima de maus-tratos pela própria filha”, disse a delegada.

Conforme Andrea, a vítima foi encontrada em um ambiente totalmente sujo, e sem condições de moradia, pois foi possível notar que a autora é acumuladora de lixo, o que gera um risco à saúde da idosa e também para os vizinhos delas.

A mulher foi autuada em flagrante por maus-tratos, negligência e apropriação de bens contra a pessoa idosa. Ela será encaminhada a audiência de custódia e ficará à disposição da Justiça.
